Oyster Brunch at Beach Bar

Beach Bar at Newport Pier |Β 16501 Collins Avenue Sunny Isle Beach, FL

Happy Wednesday guys! I’m back today to share a cool new brunch spot with you all. Last weekend James and I braved the monsoon (literally, so much rain) and made our way up to Sunny Isles to check out Beach Bar at Newport Pier! This restaurant, generally known for it’s great cocktails and amazing sunset view was definitely worth the drive. We started off our meal with some Louisiana oysters and Oysters Rockefeller (my personal fav) and a few bloody marys. Along with the bloody marys and oysters, we also both opted for Eggs Benedict for our main meal. I went with the spinach option and he went with the crab cake. Yum! There’s literally nothing better than eggs benny oceanside. We wrapped up our brunch with some mimosas and a key lime cheesecake. Yes, key-lime-cheese-cake. I’ll just leave you with that little piece of heaven as motivation to get out there for a visit.

Now I will say this, if you follow me on Instagram then you already know my style of photo taking, but the photos below are exceptionally dark. The weather was insane and we probably should have moved our brunch to a different day to get the full pier experience, but we were just too excited. We sat outside on the small section of the deck that was open, until the thunder and lightening started. So that being said, we are definitely going to make our way back up to Beach Bar for a sunset meal and cocktails! If you want to see how gorgeous this location is on a sunny day, check out this awesome photo gallery on their website or their Facebook page!

Thanks so much to the crew at Beach Bar for having us out for brunch. We can’t wait to head back for another (hopefully sunny) meal!
