Saturday Afternoon Cocktails with Seagrams Gin

Happy Monday guys! If you are a cocktail person like I am, you already know what an iconic drink the Gin + Tonic is. It was one of the first cocktails I ever fell in love with and has accompanied me in many memories over the years! So you can imagine my excitement today when I get to say that I am partnering up with Seagrams Gin this week to bring you a look at a few of my favorite recent cocktail memories.

Seagrams, known for it’s award winning taste and for being extremely mixable is my go-to when it comes to an easy afternoon drink. I personally am a fan of the Extra Dry flavor, but there are 7 you can actually choose from. Recently a few girlfriends and I decided that we were all overdue for a quick weekend staycation here in Miami. We all working crazy busy agency jobs, which means we don’t see each other that often. So when we do, we have to make it memorable!

To kick off our weekend festivities we broke out the Extra Dry and Lime Twisted flavors. We also decided that it was definitely necessary to have some fruits, and a variety of cheeses and meats to compliment out evening. After picking up our supplies we headed to our boho weekend retreat! Enjoying a staycation in your own town is such a nice way to relax and unwind with friends or family. My girls and I spent the evening chatting about our jobs, what was new in our lives, and what our summer travel plans were. So many exciting things are heading our way!

For our two cocktails of choice we made 2 variations of the classic GinΒ + Tonic. We added raspberries and lime to one, and strawberries and mint to the other. Here in Miami we live for refreshing beverages, and I can tell you adding the fruit here made them even more enjoyable! After mixing up our drinks we enjoyed a few more hours of convo and snacks in the backyard.

I want to thank Seagrams Gin for this fun partnership. It was just the inspiration we needed to get together and enjoy some quality time catching up and making new memories! Our homemade cocktails are just as unique as our friendships are, and I definitely look forward many more Seagrams filled afternoons this summer. What is your favorite afternoon cocktail to share with friends and family?

I didn’t realize there was a lime twisted gin from Seagrams! My brother loves gin and will be visiting soon. I’ll grab a bottle for cocktails.

Seagrams does make a great cocktail. It’s been a while since we’ve had any, but they don’t disappoint. Love that you add fresh fruit to yours.

At LongBeach Resort in Tofino BC Canada they make an amazing Gin Basil Caesar. The basil is muddled then ingredients added. It is my favourite aside from the lemon drop martini. Lol
